WDV is hiring! Are you passionate about advancing the rights of women with disabilities?

Women with Disability Victoria are seeking an enthusiastic Sharing Our Expertise Lived Experience Advocate to join our friendly team (6 Casual Positions available).

The Sharing Our Expertise project is funded by the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and will address barriers to the economic participation of women with disabilities.

The project will challenge the common framing of women with disabilities as service recipients rather than paid and valuable contributors to the health and social assistance sectors.

– Casual hours – 3-6 hours per fortnight.
– All Experts meetings will be held in a minimum of 3-hour blocks.
– This position is from the date of appointment to 24 April 2025.

We have a disability friendly work environment.

We particularly encourage applications from women with disabilities, including those from diverse backgrounds, such as LGBTIQ+, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, CALD, migrant, and refugee backgrounds.

The Position Description can be downloaded from our website via the link below. All applications to be submitted via the WDV website.
