Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority is currently seeking board members.

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is a statutory authority serving both government and Non-Government education institutions.
The VCAA is responsible for providing high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for early years and school-aged children to senior secondary.
As part of its functions the VCAA:

  • develops policies, criteria and standards for learning, development and assessments which relate to early childhood; and
  • develops policies, criteria and standards for curriculum, assessments and courses for school aged students.

The VCAA Board is comprised of individuals with a collective mix of expertise, skills, experiences, and perspectives. While there are no mandatory qualifications, applicants best suited to this role will have educational knowledge consistent with the functions of the VCAA, an understanding of good corporate governance and possess general financial, legal and human resource management literacy.
