Sport and Recreation play a key role in the health and wellbeing of our community.
Whether it’s playing competitive sport, walking in the park or being part of a dance group, research shows that being active, connecting with others and spending time in nature positively impacts our physical, mental and emotional health.
To support Banyule community members to participate more often in sport and recreation activities, we are developing Active Banyule, a new Sports and Recreation Plan.
So that we can get this right, we’re keen to understand what’s important to you, if you experience any barriers to participation and where you see future opportunities. Get involved!
