Elder abuse is any act which causes harm to an older person and is carried out by someone they know and trust such as family or friends. If you, your client or someone you know is experiencing elder abuse, contact our free, confidential Helpline, open from 10am – 5pm, Monday to Friday..

Seniors Rights Victoria was established in 2008. It is a program within the Council of the Ageing Vic (COTA) and governed by its board. Funding is provided by Victoria Legal Aid and the Department of Health.
