The Rights Retrospective was a special event preceding the Strengthening Disability Advocacy Conference 2016 held at NAB The Hall, Docklands, on 1 September.
This event celebrated the personalities and campaigns that have put disability rights centre stage over the past 30 years in Victoria. Live music performed by the Rights tough and special guest interviews were a feature. Sarah Barton, film producer at Fertile Films was the MC.
Special guest activists were invited to be panelists in action areas covering deinstitutionalisation, transport education and employment.
