Through a survey and online interviews, people who used to live in Victorian Government institutions were asked how they are going, and what could be improved. They shared things they do and what they have in their life, like support, friends and community. The responses showed that they are not having as good a life as they should.
A series of tip sheets, templates, information sheets and plain English posters have been created to support staff and organisations to empower people with disability living in accommodation settings.
