How do we fix the NDIS? Share your story in the ABC investigation

The National Disability Insurance Scheme has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people with permanent and profound disability.  But 10 years on from its launch, problems with the scheme have become clear.

ABC is launching an investigation and asking you — the participants, family, workers and providers — to help the ABC uncover the truth, what’s wrong with the scheme and how to fix it.

The ABC have already been reporting stories from people with disability about overcharging and having to navigate excessive red tape to access support and people being neglected, abused and manipulated by boarding houses and other providers.  There’s also been claims that organised criminal gangs have defrauded the scheme of millions of dollars.
