Assessment Officer

The position of Assessment Officer forms a part of the Jobs Victoria branch within the Employment and Inclusion group. The Strategic Engagement team, part of the Strategic Engagement and Job Creation unit at Jobs Victoria is seeking motivated, skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join the team.

Assessment Officers will be responsible for assessing applications to the $250 million Jobs Victoria Fund, which the Strategic Engagement team is responsible for administering. The Fund provides wage subsidies to support employers to grow and recover while helping priority jobseekers into steady jobs.

The core function of these roles is assessing grant applications to facilitate job opportunities for priority jobseekers. You will also support a team working across key workstreams including policy, reporting and technology, which ensure the administration of the Fund is continually improving.
