The report provides an assessment of the financial sustainability of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. It is produced using data at 30 June each year with a summary included in the NDIA annual report.
This current interim report is a more detailed summary than what was included in the last annual report, and uses data to 31 December 2020 to project the future cost of the Scheme. This interim report also includes analyses and discussion on recent Scheme experience, best estimate projections of future participant numbers and costs (based on emerging experience and future expectations), and strategies to address risks to sustainability.
