Melbourne East Disability Advocacy (MEDA)

MEDA is a not for profit organisation dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability.

MEDA has paid individual advocates and long and short term Volunteer Citizen Advocates who work with people over 18 who have an intellectual disability..

You have a right to have access to an advocate.  An advocate is someone who is independent, listens to what you want and will support you to feel heard or to take action.

MEDA can provide an advocate to be by your side with your NDIS transition, pre-planning and planning meetings.
