Lead the way workshop: Community supports

Connecting and feeling supported by other people like ourselves can be really important for young women and non-binary people with disabilities.

In this workshop you will learn what community supports are, how they benefit us and how they can help us include and speak up for ourselves and other people. You will reflect on what is important for you when seeking community supports, and how you can use this knowledge in the future.

This workshop also covers allyship – what it is and how it can be done well.
