Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices: Team Leaders

Team Leaders must have a solid understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practice and how to work with the many different players across the behaviour support landscape.

This ‘theory in practice’ workshop covers:

  • Identifying what are restrictive practices?
  • Managing the difficult conversations with participants, families and Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Supporting teams to effectively implement the NDIS key requirements
  • Improving outcomes and meeting compliance requirement

Behaviour support and restrictive practice receives a lot of attention from the NDIS Commission.

This workshop consolidates our facilitator’s experiences about where things go wrong, how Team Leaders can prevent non-compliance and provide good support.
