Eleanore has worked in various roles at VLA since 2006, with a particular focus on assisting clients with disabilities and mental health issues. She was the inaugural duty lawyer in the Assessment and Referral Court (ARC) List, a criminal court which provides a therapeutic response to people with disabilities and/or mental health issues.

Most recently, her role involved providing training and professional support to lawyers working in mental health and disability law and other areas of law which promote social inclusion. She is actively involved in law reform and strategic advocacy to improve outcomes for people with disabilities.

In addition, she has previously worked as a personal and attendant carer and has recently completed a Graduate Certificate of Disability Studies.
