New framework to help shape the future of sport and recreation

The aim of developing a strategic framework for sport and recreation in Victoria is to strengthen the system and identify how the broader economic, health and community benefits arising from the sector can be maximised.  This framework will set out the outcomes the Victorian Government wants to achieve through sport and recreation.

A discussion paper and background information has been developed to create the basis for broader consultation with the sport and recreation system in Victoria. This documentation provides context about the sport and active recreation system in Victoria and the benefits and the key issues facing sport and active recreation.
