Expressions of Interest – Suitability Panel

The Minister for Child Protection, Luke Donnellan MP, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people to appoint as the Chairperson and 8 Panel Members of the Suitability Panel in Victoria. The Suitability Panel, established under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005, conducts hearings, and makes findings as to whether or not an out-of-home carer:

  • who is alleged to have sexually or physically abused a child should be disqualified from being a carer, or
  • who has been disqualified by the Panel should have their disqualification removed.

Applications close Sunday 3 February.
