Delivering greater choice for Victorians with disability

More than 7,850 Victorians living with disability will start receiving services from the NDIS as it rolls into Goulburn, Mallee and Outer Gippsland.

Acting Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers Martin Foley welcomed the final milestone in the successful Victorian roll out of the NDIS.

There are an estimated 2,390 people receiving disability support in the Goulburn area. This is expected to increase by 1,110 to 3,500 once the NDIS is fully rolled out in the region.

In the Mallee, an estimated 1,502 people receive disability assistance, with the figure likely to rise by 706 to 2,208.

In Outer Gippsland, there will be an estimated increase of 611 to 2,144 people receiving NDIS support when it fully rolled out.
