The Strengthening Disability Advocacy Conference was held at NAB The Hall on Monday 2 September 2019. The theme was Advocacy Under Pressure which focussed in on national systems effecting the work of advocacy right across Australia.

The following day included an extra program of associated events. The morning session was a workshop addressing burnout and was exclusive to advocates working within funded disability advocacy organisations. The workshop resource is password protected. The afternoon forum was put together by the Victorian Disability Advocacy Network (VicDAN).
- Defending Participants Rights -Navigating the NDIS
Includes a keynote address from Dr Bruce Bonyhady and panel sessions investigating different aspects of the NDIS from a legal and rights perspective.
