This report provides an assessment of the financial sustainability of the NDIS and is required under the NDIS Act (Section 180B). It is produced using data at 30 June each year and a summary of each year is included in the agency’s Annual Report.
It provides a comprehensive financial picture of the NDIS based on the Scheme Actuary’s projections And uses historic experience to inform forward-looking assumptions as to participant numbers, exit rates, and growth in spend per participant. It also contains detailed commentary on Scheme risks, while providing a range of scenarios on possible financial outcomes.
