The Independent Office for School Dispute Resolution works alongside parents, students and Victorian government schools to resolve issues through an independent, simple and fair process.
The Independent Office is the final step in the Department of Education and Training’s dispute resolution process. Your school should always be the first point of contact for a complaint, followed by the Department’s regional office. Unresolved, escalated or complex disputes are referred to the Independent Office by the Department or a direct referral can be made.
