Module 2: Family-centred and Strengths-based Practice

This workshop is part of the Best Practices in Early Childhood Intervention Professional Development Program, a strength based, comprehensive and innovative training package that has been endorsed by an Expert Advisory Group and is consistent with the recently released NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach.

In this module, participants will share the evidence and fundamental importance of applying family-centered and strengths-based practices with families.  Topics will cover the principles and rationale and Identify the knowledge and skills required to guide families through these approaches including recognising the challenges and understanding how to navigate them.

This workshop would benefit  ECI stakeholders’ health, allied health, educators, community organisations and caregivers, NDIS stakeholders and workers and practitioners who are not familiar with ECI Best Practice Guidelines.\
