Human Rights Oration

This year’s orator is renowned journalist Stan Grant, the Indigenous Affairs Editor for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and special adviser to the Prime Minister on Indigenous constitutional recognition.

Stan will deliver a keynote entitled ‘Talking to my country’, and draw on his personal history as a Wiradjuri man and his professional history as a journalist, positing the question whether Australia can be a country that can fully enshrine the rights of Indigenous peoples, wrestle with its past, draw a line through its history, and give Indigenous peoples the opportunity to make decisions about their lives that will lift Indigenous people and communities.

RSVP essential as seats are limited.  Live streaming available.
